April 17

Yup, that's a toilet seat. Cameron's toilet seat upstairs has been broken so I finally ordered a new one. It's a super cool new toilet seat that has a little flip down toddler sized seat that sticks magnetically to the lid when not being used. It's so much easier and cleaner than the little one we had to place on the toilet when Cameron needed it. It was delivered today while Grampy was over so Cameron was super excited to help Grampy put it on. He then wanted to carry the old seat down and put it in the trash.

Here's our little guy at 5 weeks old. He was a pretty skinny little guy when he was born, but he is definitely putting on some baby pudge now. Look at those chubby little arms! He's a good little eater, that's for sure.

This morning the boys and I went for a walk and tricycle ride around our housing complex. We started doing this the last couple weeks of my pregnancy, we go around the whole complex twice. The first time around Cameron rides his tricycle and then he likes to put it away to walk/run the next lap.

Today we took Carter to Disneyland for his first of many visits! We haven't been able to go since December so we were all (except for maybe Carter) super excited to start going again. The first thing we did was get Carter his 1st Visit pin, I think he's just resting up for all the fun that's in store for his day!

Here we are eating lunch in California Adventure in our favorite lunch spot. It's one of the new areas they have built, there are a few different eatery options which we really like, lots of tables and shady trees and there's usually a live band of some sort playing music. It's always so nice sitting here for a while.

He doesn't look too happy here does he?

Cameron loves laying next to Carter on the floor. He often grabs this blanket on his own and lays it out and then say's, "Mommy, I think Carter wants to have tummy time!"

Tonight I put Carter down for some tummy time, and after a couple minutes he has gotten himself from flat on his belly to on top of his shoulder. That's when I grabbed my phone and started this video showing him roll over from his belly to his back. He will be one month old tomorrow, so maybe we are in for some serious trouble from this boy if he's doing this already. He has done it a few more times since this so I guess it wasn't a total fluke.

April 11

Here is where Carter sleeps in our room. We borrowed this Arms Reach Cocoon from Auntie Shen, which is very similar to the Amby Baby that Cameron slept in for the first few months. It sits right next to the bed on my side so that I can see him when I wake up, and get him quickly when he wakes up for his nightly feeding. We swaddle him for bed every night because being wrapped up all tight helps him to sleep so much better.
