Tonight after work Caleb and I had a date night at Disneyland. We've been wanting to go on the newly updated Star Tours, but Cameron isn't big enough for it yet and the wait is pretty long since it just reopened so we figured it would be best to go on do that on our own. So Cameron had a sleepover at NanaGrampy's house, and of course had no idea where Mommy & Daddy were going. We waited an hour and a half for Star Tours, which we expected, and then went over to catch Fantasmic. It was a late night but I'm off tomorrow! Here's Caleb in his cool 3D glasses for the ride.

Look at this handsome boy in his swim gear. Yesterday Cameron and Caleb started their swim lessons. They are every afternoon for 30 minutes and two weeks. Those little flip flops match his Mickey Mouse trunks and swim shirt. He gets so very excited to go swimming every day with his Daddy, I'm really glad they are able to do this together.

Right by our garage door we have two key hooks that we've had since we lived in our apartment. A couple weeks ago I took some keys off of one of them and pulled it off the wall, sending it crashing down to it's demise. Well, one hook just isn't enough for all those keys. Caleb and I found this great key hook at Target. I don't think I will have to worry about pulling this one down, look at those screws.

Chris dropped London back off this morning as he headed down for the wedding. Today Caleb was on his own and from what I hear he had his hands more full with Cameron than London by far. Here the three of them are close to bedtime after we ate dinner. London climbed up with her blanket to sit in her uncles lap, and once Cameron noticed he decided he needed to get in on it to. He was maybe a little bit jealous, and was trying so hard to climb as far up Caleb as he could.

Tonight I was supposed to make Tilapia for dinner, but when I went to pull it out of the freezer this morning I realized we didn't have any...Oops, don't worry I already added it to my Costco list. So we went out to Claim Jumper instead and afterwards we went to Target to pick up my new reading glasses. Since we moved into our house we have been looking for something to hang on the wall above our bed. It's been hard finding something that we like, that goes with the room, and that is lightweight since it will be above our heads. We just happened upon this at Target tonight so we thought we would bring it home to see how it looks. It's just propped up on the bed here, but doesn't it look perfect there???

This is Cameron's Handy Manny Big Construction Job. He has been needing some help to put together the two buildings from Caleb or I, but today for the first time he put it all together all by himself. He now likes to build the smaller building (city hall) on top of the repair shop instead of building them separately. Doesn't he look proud?

Today we hung out at home after a Costco trip, and grilled up some shrimp for dinner. Cameron wore these cute little Mickey crocs, passed down from his cousin Aaron, for the first time. They are still a little big but he really liked them, and he like that he can put them on by himself. I found a cute new app for his iPad today called Scout's ABC Garden. He has a stuffed version of Scout (by leapfrog) that sings and talks a NanaGrampy's house. He was so excited to see Scout on his iPad and it's a really good game that helps him learn letters. Here he is playing it on the couch.

Tonight Caleb and I went on a date after work. Caleb got us tickets to a pre-screening of The Lucky One, based on a Nicholas Sparks novel. He is my favorite author and I read all of his books so I was pretty excited. We drove into Pasadena and got to see the movie, which doesn't come out until next year, while Cameron spent the night at NanaGrampy's house. It was pretty good, and we had a fun date night.

Here's a super cute Lighting McQueen blanket Caleb got for Cameron from woot. We got it yesterday and Cameron saw it this morning when he came downstairs. He really likes it and spent a lot of time carrying it around today. It even came with 3-D glasses, and when you put them on it really is 3-D, pretty silly but cute anyways.

Today Mee Maw came to see Cameron and Caleb, so they could go out to lunch together. She brought him this super cute Handy Manny t-shirt. Caleb said as soon as he saw it he wanted to put it on, and he wasn't happy when he realized he wasn't wearing it anymore after I put his pj's on. This is the funny face he makes sometimes when he's taking a picture.

Today Cameron and I went to Target for a few things, one of which was a new toothbrush for him. The bristles on his Lighting McQueen toothbrush (left) started fraying a bit so I figured we better replace it. Cameron picked out a new Mater (center) toothbrush and I wanted to give a little kid electric toothbrush a try. I told Caleb I didn't think I could bear to throw the Lighting toothbrush away, so he told me to take a picture of it. His new electric toothbrush works great, Cameron thinks it tickles a little bit, and he likes to use his Mater one when he goes in his bathroom to brush his own teeth.

Our other weekend project was some new curtains in Cameron's room. He has been waking up very very early the last few weeks, like right at 6ish or even before then. So we thought it might be too bright in there for him because the sun shines right into his room when it comes up, and the sun comes up early this time of year. So we hung some curtains over his windows, hoping that would keep his room darker in the mornings. We'll see how it works...

Today while Cameron was taking his nap we put together a new toy. We usually try to put away some of the toys he gets for Christmas so we can get some new toys throughout the year. This is Handy Manny's Big Construction Job. He was so excited to see it, Caleb even propped up his iPad and had Handy Manny's Big Construction Job the episode playing when he came downstairs.

Today Caleb and I set out to clean up our courtyard. It has been quite some time since we have done any work out there. The wind blew one of our tiles out of the table and it broke (that was very likely before Christmas, but I can't be certain), I believe that same wind storm blew that chair over and all of the plants could use some serious trimming.

Today when I got home from work I sat down on Cameron's bean bag and Cameron wanted to sit with me. So he crawled up, sat behind me and wrapped his arms around me. It was so cute, but as soon as he saw Caleb with the camera he stopped hugging me and gave a little pouty face. This was unfortunately the best one we got.

So sometime last year, I think during the summer, my driver side sun visor broke. It wouldn't stay up and it just flopped down, making it difficult to see while I was driving, so we had it velcroed up. When the time changes in the spring and it gets dark later, I drive home into the sun every day, which isn't much fun without a sun visor. So I finally bit the bullet and bought a new one (for a ridiculous $120) and installed it. It was super easy, Just popped out the broken one and snapped in the new one. I was almost (but not quite) excited to go to work the next day so I could use it.
