March 25

Today we slept in, and then played around a little in Charlotte. There was a super fun place called Discovery Place, with fun science activities for kids.
This was a water play area in the room designed for younger kiddies. Cameron had such a fun time playing here.

As you can see he got absolutely soaking wet, but it was worth it. We were able to walk straight back to our car to change his clothes once we were done.

March 24

Today we drove south from Kitty Hawk to Cape Hatteras, and then on to Charlotte, which was somewhere around a 7 1/2 hour drive.

Cape Hatteras, Easternmost point in the southeast of the country, and home to the tallest lighthouse in the country.

When I pointed to the lighthouse and showed it to Cameron he said, "I think I climb thaaaat?"

It was closed for climbing until next moth, but we couldn't have done that with Cameron anyway.

Cameron was such a good sport for that long car ride. He took a nap and got in some movies on his iPad.

March 23

Today we left Kim & Chris' house and drove down to Kitty Hawk, NC. It was about a 4 1/2 hour drive. Our first stop in the outer banks was the Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills. Here are the markers showing how far each of the four first flights went.

The memorial, up on a super tall giant, only way up it is to climb it, hill.
Our hotel room for the night, from it's private pier.

Daddy & Cameron

Under the pier.

The view from our hotel room, I felt like I was in the middle of a Nicholas Sparks novel.

March 22

We just hung out at the house again today so the boys could play with each other. Here they are watching some Disney shows in the morning. How cute is that?
Playing some games together on the iPad.

Look at Cameron's hand resting on Aarons head!

So sweet.

This is for everyone who knows about all those feet pictures Kim loves to take. Two cute sets of little boy feet.

March 21

Today Nana & Grampy left to fly home, while Caleb, the boys and I stayed home. After Kim & Chris got home from work we went outside so Aaron could get his birthday present from his Mommy & Daddy.
Cool Toy Story Bike! What a big boy!

Daddy pushing Cameron on Aaron's old tricycle.

Giving Uncle Chris a thumbs up.

Bedtime. Here is Aaron reading a bedtime story to Cameron.

March 20

Today is Aaron's birthday party! It's a toy story party, and it was so much fun! Those are the super cute alien cupcakes Kim made. Perfect

Here are the boys looking for Green Army Men out in the yard.

Aaron lining his Green Army Men up.

I love this picture of Aaron & Nana.

Fun activity painting little ceramic pigs, like Hamm in Toy Story.

Cameron was very excited to see his Daddy once he got to the party after flying in to meet us from Indiana.

Time for cake!

No caption necessary.

March 19

Today I worked until about 1:30 and went straight to the airport to catch a 3:05 flight to Virginia. My flight landed at about 1 in the morning, thankfully my parents didn't mind picking me up that late! I didn't however have much of an occasion to take a picture today, so here are the pretty mountains from where I parked my car at Ontario airport. One of the many surrounding shots I took of my car, so my mom & dad could easily find it when they pick it up for me in a couple days.

March 18

I am home all alone tonight, so I made a stop on my way home from work! I ordered my dinner on my phone before I left work and it was ready for me when I got there!

March 17

It's St. Patrick's Day and I have the day off so we decided to get some Disneyland time in. Recently they made some changes to the Disney Channel, they added some new shows and now the time frames that feature Cameron's shows is called Disney Junior instead of Playhouse Disney. There was a Playhouse Disney stage show that played every day at California Adventure so they are updating that as well. Here is Cameron standing in front of the wall around the building where the show is, I think he was so excited to see such a big Handy Manny & tools it might have been just as good as seeing the show. We are excited to see the new show, it comes out next week which means Cameron can go see it with his cousin Aaron next month!

March 16

Today Caleb took Cameron to his dentist appointment. He got a balloon, a little pouch with a toothbrush, floss and toothpaste, and that cool Lighting McQueen sticker. Caleb said Cameron was such a good boy through his x-rays and cleaning, and didn't cry at all.

March 15

Caleb started his spring break yesterday and he and Cameron have been going to the playground to play some t-ball. Caleb took this picture of Cameron getting his ball ready and I think it is so cute, I did take my own picture today but it wasn't nearly as cute as this one.

March 14

Tonight while we were watching some TV, Cameron asked me for a microphone. Once I gave it to him he walked around singing the rest of the night. He's been singing a lot lately, it's so cute.

March 13

Tonight we went over to Mee Maw & Grandpa Jim's house for dinner because it's Jim's dad's (Grandpa Bob) birthday today. We had some play time outside where Cameron kept laying on the grass and pretending to take a nap. Then he would stand up and say, "I woke up!" He also spent a lot of time running around with his cousin Taylor. Taylor brought her doggy, Angel over to play too and she is truly one of the most well-behaved dogs I have ever met. In the picture below Cameron was shaking Angel's paw.

March 12

It's 7:15 on Saturday night and I think my little man needs an early bed time tonight. He didn't take a nap today and nanagrampy's house, and when I asked him why he said, "I was kicking the door." So just about as soon as he sat down to eat his dinner he started dozing off. Poor little sleepy guy.

March 11

Caleb flew to Denver for the weekend tonight, so on my way to pick up Cameron from my parents house (which Caleb usually does on Friday's) I stopped to get everyone some Panera for dinner. As soon as Cameron saw me holding the bag he said, "Uhhh, whadja get??" I guess he was hungry because he impatiently went over to the bag to try to get some food out while saying, "Mommy, I eat some?"

March 10

We tried a new recipe tonight. Spicy Tortilla Soup with Shrimp & Avocado, from Cooking Light of course. A little different from traditional tortilla soup but it was very yummy.
