May 6

I got lots of great smile shots of Carter this afternoon after he woke up from a little nap.

I love his little open mouth smiles.

Cute little baby feet.

After a few minutes of smiling it was time for a break with some of his serious faces.

May 5

Tonight Caleb took some pictures of Cameron and I reading some Cars books.

Carter was laying with us on his boppy and after a while grabbed a hold of my arm and started sucking on my elbow. I guess he was getting hungry.

May 4

Cameron is an independent little guy, and most picks his clothes out himself and then gets himself dressed. I keep trying to remember in the evenings to make sure the shirts on top of his shirt piles match the pants or shorts on the top of those piles because we have had to do battle a few times when I tell him he needs to pick something else due to the serious clashing combos he sometimes comes up with. Today when he went up to get dressed he came down with his shoes already on wearing his Mickey Angels hat, I thought it was so cute!

May 3

Cameron wiping some spit up off Carter's mouth. Such a sweet little guy (most of the time).

May 2

Tonight I made the mistake of giving Cameron some frozen blueberries, what a mess! You can't really tell in the picture but he fingers are so stained, this is all post cleanup and hand washing.

May 1

Cute little cousins sitting on the couch watching Monsters Inc. They both played so well with each other tonight, it's so much fun now to watch them interact with each other.

April 30

Today I made my first trip out with both boys by myself. We went to Costco to get a few things, it wasn't by any means a normal sized Costco trip. The boys both did great, Cameron watched Monsters Inc on the iPod the whole time while Carter slept in his car seat. I was prepared to abort the mission mid shopping trip if necessary but thankfully it couldn't have got any more smoothly.

April 29

Today we went to a place called Pretend City in Irvine. It's a children's museum that's set up just like a miniature city for little kids. We got tickets for all of us to go for Christmas from Wendy which I thought was such a fun and creative family gift. Up above Cameron is at what he calls the little Ralphs where he went grocery shopping and then bought all of his goodies at the checkout stand.

Brushing teeth at the Dentist's office.

Playing at the beach.

Being a just pretend mailman.

Picking apples at the farm.

Digging in the vegetable garden.

Putting together some pipes.

Playing some music at the theater.

Building a house.

Going to the ATM.

Driving the fire truck.

Getting measured at the Doctor's office.
He had a great time playing there and loved that everything was just his size.

April 28

Daddy cuddles.

April 27

Carter has started smiling this last week but this is the first time I have been able to get a picture of it. These were some sweet smiles he had for his daddy tonight while I was getting ready for bed.

April 26

Cameron has been asking the last couple weeks to go to Caleb's classroom, so today we took him some lunch. Caleb set up Up on his projector for Cameron to watch while we all enjoyed our Chipotle.

Tonight Caleb placed this little Very Hungry Caterpillar on Carter's chest in the pack and play, and for the first time he was trying to get the little teething part of it's tail in his mouth. That's the first time he has "played" with a little toy by himself.

April 25

I love watching how high he can pick his head up off the ground.

April 24

Cousin night tonight. Cameron and London spent some time sitting on the stairs playing with Cameron's Camera.

April 23

Falling asleep on his boppy after eating.

April 22

Caleb came home today so I had the boys dressed in their Angel gear for some Sunday baseball watching.

April 21

Caleb has been in Dayton, Ohio for a few days now for WGI Percussion World Championships. All the performances are broadcast over the website. We can go on the internet through the TV which makes watching things like this so much better! Tonight was world class finals which I watched with my parents when they brought some dinner over for all of us. Cameron is pointing to Caleb on the screen as they set up for awards. He was so excited to see his daddy on TV but he couldn't understand why Caleb couldn't hear him, it was so cute.

April 20

Sometimes Grampy lets Cameron pretend to drive his car. He sits in the driver seat and presses every button he sees and I think also turns on the signals and the wipers.

He has also learned how to open the moon roof so he can stand up and stick his head out the top of the car.

April 19

Supervised little tummy nap.

April 18

Sleepy little guy sleeping through a diaper change.

April 17

Yup, that's a toilet seat. Cameron's toilet seat upstairs has been broken so I finally ordered a new one. It's a super cool new toilet seat that has a little flip down toddler sized seat that sticks magnetically to the lid when not being used. It's so much easier and cleaner than the little one we had to place on the toilet when Cameron needed it. It was delivered today while Grampy was over so Cameron was super excited to help Grampy put it on. He then wanted to carry the old seat down and put it in the trash.

Here's our little guy at 5 weeks old. He was a pretty skinny little guy when he was born, but he is definitely putting on some baby pudge now. Look at those chubby little arms! He's a good little eater, that's for sure.

April 16

This morning the boys and I went for a walk and tricycle ride around our housing complex. We started doing this the last couple weeks of my pregnancy, we go around the whole complex twice. The first time around Cameron rides his tricycle and then he likes to put it away to walk/run the next lap.

April 15

Today we took Carter to Disneyland for his first of many visits! We haven't been able to go since December so we were all (except for maybe Carter) super excited to start going again. The first thing we did was get Carter his 1st Visit pin, I think he's just resting up for all the fun that's in store for his day!

Here we are eating lunch in California Adventure in our favorite lunch spot. It's one of the new areas they have built, there are a few different eatery options which we really like, lots of tables and shady trees and there's usually a live band of some sort playing music. It's always so nice sitting here for a while.

April 14

He doesn't look too happy here does he?

April 13

Cameron loves laying next to Carter on the floor. He often grabs this blanket on his own and lays it out and then say's, "Mommy, I think Carter wants to have tummy time!"

April 12

Tonight I put Carter down for some tummy time, and after a couple minutes he has gotten himself from flat on his belly to on top of his shoulder. That's when I grabbed my phone and started this video showing him roll over from his belly to his back. He will be one month old tomorrow, so maybe we are in for some serious trouble from this boy if he's doing this already. He has done it a few more times since this so I guess it wasn't a total fluke.
