August 23

Little guy sleeping on my legs.

August 22

Today after school Cameron, Carter and I went up to NanaGrampy's house to do some swimming. Carter fell asleep and I didn't want to wake him up so just Cameron and Grampy went in today. Here's Cameron jumping off this tall rock for the first time. He did such a great job!

Cute swimming boy with him new goggles. He loves being able to keep his eyes open when he goes underwater.

August 21

Today I took a marker and wrote Mommy Loves Cameron on a piece of paper. So, Cameron got another piece of paper and rewrote the letters himself and also drew a picture of he and I. How sweet right?!?

August 20

Here's a close up shot of the Cozy Cone Motel that Caleb took after some detail work. He and Cameron have been having so much fun building Radiator Springs together. We should just be a couple weeks away from the big reveal of all the completed buildings.

August 19

I always prop Carter up on the boppy like this when we head up to feed him before bed. This is when I give him his vitamins every night and I usually get caught up in a round of smiles with him.

August 18

Carter is starting to push himself up onto his hands and knees. It usually doesn't last long but he's definitely trying to get on the move.

No caption necessary!

August 15

I took this great smiley picture of Carter with my phone today. He just has the biggest sweetest smile and I love that cute little dimple on the right side too.

When Cameron saw what I was doing he wanted to get in on the action.

August 14

Carter reaching up to touch his daddy's face.

August 13

Here's some school work that Cameron brought home today. He's doing so much better coloring in the lines. I love it when there's something in his folder for me to bring home.

August 12

Another bedtime shot!

August 10

Getting ready to eat before bedtime. This is often times one of his happiest times of the day.

August 9

Sometimes when Cameron sees Carter on his activity mat he likes to lay down with him. Carter loves watching and interaction with Cameron.

August 8

Today I made some popsicles out of apple and pineapple juice for Cameron. I gave him one when he got home from school today since it was SOOOO hot!

August 7

I decided to make some chocolate chip cookies today, and as you can see Cameron couldn't wait for them to come out of the oven.

August 6

Here's my big little man on his first day of preschool. He was so excited to go to school and meet new friends. I sure didn't feel ready for this day to come but I suppose I did better than I thought I would. I walked him to his classroom and signed him in and he walked right in. He was so excited to go inside and check out the puzzles his teacher showed him that I couldn't even get him to say goodbye. Good for him, bad for me! So proud of this little guy.

August 5

Caleb and Cameron start school tomorrow, so before dinner we went down to the pool so they could do a little swimming.

August 3

Fun day today. We started the day off with Cameron's preschool orientation. We got some information and we were also able to go see his classroom and meet his teacher. Her name is Ms. Hill-Martinez and she seems really lovely. I am sure Cameron is really going to like her.

Then this evening we went to the Hollywood Bowl to see Pixar in Concert. We packed a nice picnic dinner for before the show and then the concert started at 8. They had put up several big projection screens that showed clips of the movies while the orchestra was playing. Cameron absolutely loved it and was mesmerized the entire time. Carter was also a very good boy throughout. He didn't sleep and didn't make a peep the whole time, I'm not sure if it was the music or the lights from the screen that kept his attention.

August 2

We went and got the bumbo seat out of storage for Carter, he really enjoys sitting in it.

August 1

Tonight was our last trip to Disneyland before Caleb goes back to school. We wanted to go in the evening so we could see all the lights on in Cars Land. Carter wasn't really sure what to make of the bright flash on the camera.

Caleb and Cameron after riding on Mater's Junkyard Jamboree.

Now it's mommy's turn!

July 31

Carter sleeping in his car seat.

July 30

I LOVE this picture of these guys! Look at that perfect smiley boy with his daddy!

July 28

Tonight we are going to our first Angel game since Cameron was a baby with Nana and Grampy. Here's Carter all dressed in his gear and ready to go.

Cameron's first baseball game hot dog.

The boys and I. So far the best picture I have taken with the both of them to date.

July 26

Last day of swimming lessons for Cameron this summer, there he is jumping to Caleb in the pool. He did so much better this year and was a lot more confident than he was his first time around last year.

July 25

The four of us went to Disneyland today. We went into the Blue Sky Cellar to look around and they were showing a cute little clip with Mater and Lightning about how Radiator Springs was founded and Cameron was absolutely riveted.

Cooling off and taking a nap after half a day at Disneyland followed by Cameron's swimming lesson.

July 24

Cameron was so tired tonight after his swimming lessons he couldn't even make it through dinner and we had to put him to bed at 6:30.

July 23

Tonight was Cameron's last T-Ball game of the season. He had a lot of fun playing and was doing so much better the last few games even though he missed a couple weeks because of our vacation and also because of the cut on his face.

Figuring out where to throw the ball.

Running to first base after hitting the ball off the T.

His official T-Ball picture for this year!

July 22

Carter lying in Cameron's big boy bed right before Cameron's bed time. He looks so tiny all covered in those blankets!

July 21

Sweet sleeping baby.

July 20

Cameron has been drawing Wall.E lately and he is getting so good at doing it all on his own. I know this is a goofy face but it's the best one I have out of the several I took!

July 19

One of the reasons Caleb wanted to get all his old Lego's was because he had the idea to try to build a Radiator Springs for Cameron to drive his Cars Lego's around in. These picture are merely an appetizer for whats to come once it is complete. Above is the first draft of the Courthouse at the end of the street in Radiator Springs. This is where Red the Fire Engine lives.

Cameron working on some Lego boats while Daddy works on some buildings.

Luigi's Tire Shop, again this is just Caleb's first draft. After he finishes all the buildings he plans on going back and perfecting each one with more accurate details.

July 18

Today was haircut day from Caleb, Cameron, Grampy and I, followed by lunch at Farrell's. Cameron got this super silly balloon animal hat while we were eating.

Carter smiling with his Grampy at Cameron's T-Ball game.

Cameron's turn to bat with Coach Brian.

July 17

Today we went out to lunch with Mam Maw. Now that Cameron has started playing with Lego's after lunch Caleb thought it was a good time to get all of his old Lego's out of Mam Maw's garage to bring home. They were a bit dusty after so many years so Caleb did several loads full of Lego's in the washing machine to clean them up a bit.

He had always told me that he had a lot of Lego's when he was younger but I guess I was unable to fully comprehend what he meant by that. Even though I didn't know what I was getting myself into I will say I am happy Cameron has so many Lego's to play that we didn't have to spend money on.

More Lego's drying on towels in Carter's room.
