January 15

This morning Mee Maw & Grandpa Jim had all the grandkids (and their parents!) over for breakfast. We had some yummy pancakes, eggs and bacon and the kids all got to play for a long time after breakfast. They wanted to try to get a picture of all the grandchildren sitting together, and they actually sat still for a few minutes. From left to right we have; Cameron, Taylor, Levi, Gillian & London.

January 14

Today it was time for Christmas Part 4 for us, as we exchanged Christmas gifts with Nana & Grampy. They got Cameron a new kitchen for him to play with when he is at their house. He has really loved playing with Aaron's whenever we visit Virginia so they thought he would enjoy having one to play with here. They also got him a really cute pizza set, peel & slice vegetable set, food group set and even a little toaster and coffee maker.
He was so so so excited when he walked in and saw that kitchen and now says he has a kitchen just like his cousins Aaron & London (who also got a new one for Christmas).

January 13

Ok, so I know this is a pretty bad picture but it's all I have for today. I was reading a book on Cameron's bed while he played in his room, then he climbed up behind me and hugged my neck so tight, so I thought I would try to get a picture of us.

January 12

Cameron's bathroom is an underwater theme, with cute ocean animals. We also have up some art work and little souvenirs that we bought in Australia. So this year Santa brought Cameron some Finding Nemo wall stickers to put up in his bathroom, perfect right? He was so excited to help put them up and loves looking at them when he's in there.

January 11

Cameron did some playing today before falling asleep for his nap. I actually thought he was still awake and it was 4:30 so I headed up to get him out of his room. I walked in and found him conked out, I wish I could have seen the progression that led him to this position.

January 10

Cousin night! It's our first in a few weeks and Cameron was excited to show London his Christmas presents. They did a pretty good job taking turns with Cameron's tricycle and helmet.

January 9

January 7 was my dad's birthday, which they spent in Virginia this year. They are flying home tomorrow so today I made my dad's regular birthday cake for him so he would have it in the fridge when they got home. It was kind of hard not taking a slice out of it before dropping it off at their house though that's for sure!

January 8

This is Cameron's new V Tech Laptop that he got for Christmas from Mam Maw. He really loves playing with it and pretending he is working like his daddy does on his laptop.

January 7

These are the new ottoman's we recently got for the family room. We wanted to get a little ottoman for my new chair so you would have the option of putting your feet up without reclining. We already had a long one similar to this in front of the couch with two separate storage compartments, but the center bar inside of it broke so every time someone sat on it the lid would cave in. So we found this awesome leather set on Costco's website, the large one with storage inside, and matching small ones, which can be stored inside the large on if needed. We are really happy with them!

January 6

Today we made a trip to Costco and after we get home Cameron loves playing with the boxes we bring home as we are unloading and putting away the food. Today he grabbed the empty milk box and put it over his hear so he could look through this little "window" with his eyes.

January 5

I realized today I hadn't taken a picture of our Christmas wreath this year! Every year a couple weeks before Christmas Mee Maw makes us a beautiful wreath to hang on the front door. I really love getting this each year, and love having a real live wreath to hang on the door.

January 4

This morning I had a Dr.appointment, so we dropped Cameron off with Auntie Shen and London so Caleb could come with me. After that since we didn't have Cameron we headed over to check on NanaGrampy's house and to assemble the new kitchen they got Cameron for Christmas. It's going to stay there which is why we assembled it there, and he will get to open it and see it when Nana & Grampy get home from Virginia next week. He's going to be so excited because he loves playing with Aaron's kitchen when we visit, and as we speak is probably playing with London's new kitchen at her house. I was taking some inventory of the accessories and food items that came with it so we could figure out what else he might need.

January 3

Time to fly home this afternoon, so the boys got in one more fun bath this morning before we had to head to the airport.

January 2

Chris went outside today to try out his new leaf blower attachment that we got him for Christmas. He says it worked great and it's got to be better than raking right???

This afternoon Cameron and Aaron stayed behind at the house with Auntie while the rest of us went to check out Ashley's cute new apartment. The boys were watching Cars 2 and Cameron fell asleep in Uncle Chris' chair.

January 1

Happy New Year!
Time to start a new year of pictures and posts, and what cuter picture could I possibly have for day 1 than this one. This morning Cameron went up to Kim and said, "Auntie I want to take a fun bath with Aaron." So here they are playing and being silly.

Then while Cameron was taking a nap Aaron climbed up on this chair with Caleb to cuddle and watch some shows on Kim's iPad. Caleb was reading a book, and we looked over and saw some cute uncle nephew cuddle time.

December 31

What a great New Year's Eve dinner, Steak in a Bag. This is one of my mom's long time specialties and we were all pretty excited when she got the idea to make it tonight. It's steak covered in bread crumbs, cheddar cheese and garlic, cooked inside a brown paper bag in the oven. Deeelicious!

December 30

Handy Aaron & Handy Cameron getting in some important work with Aaron's tools.

Decemeber 29

Tonight we went to dinner at Outback for Chris' Birthday. Unfortunately Cameron was super tired and pretty grumpy throughout, but I think we managed to still have a nice dinner. Once we got back in the car to head home we weren't even out of the parking lot before Cameron fell asleep.

December 28

Today we flew out to Virginia for some family time on the east coast. Cameron couldn't possibly be more excited to see and play with Aaron. Of course his favorite Mickey had to go along for the trip also.

Here are the cute little guys getting ready to go to sleep on an air mattress in Aaron's room. They were super excited to sleep together, so of course the first couple of nights there was a lot of talking and giggling, but the rest of our trip they were very good and went right to sleep.

December 27

So today we spent pretty much all day getting ready and packing for our trip to Virginia. Consequently I didn't think to snap any pictures, but Caleb did take this one from the car while running some errands. This picture doesn't do the scene justice, but this goofy guy is wearing very short boxing shorts, a shiny jacket and has super oiled up shiny legs. Very funny.

December 26

Today we went to Costco and picked up this super cute and super comfy chair, this was my Christmas present from Caleb. It's a recliner but we are also going to order an ottoman to go with it in the next couple of weeks. I love it!

December 25

Coming down the stairs on Christmas morning!

Checking to see if Santa came...

 New Lightning McQueen helmet.

He wanted to try out his new tricycle from Santa right away!

 Those are some full stockings!

Santa ate all his cookies, and drank his milk...

Santa left Cameron a cute little plush Mater sticking out of the top of his stocking.

 Daddy's stocking goodies.

Cameron's stocking goodies.
 Mommy's stocking goodies.
Time for Christmas at Mee Maw's house! Look at these cute little cousins.

Watching Frosty the Snowman once they grew a little tired of watching everyone else open their presents.

December 24

Time for Christmas Eve in Apple Valley! Cameron had a great time sleeping over last night and Caleb and I drove up Christmas Eve morning for lunch and family time. Cameron and London love playing out in the back yard.

Time to put out some Christmas cookies for Santa!

December 23

Tonight Cameron is spending the night in Apple Valley with Grandmama, Grandpapa, Miles & Layla while Caleb and I go to a Christmas party some friends of ours are having. We had a great time and I lasted longer than I thought I might before I was ready to get home and go to bed. That's the time in my car when we pulled into the garage! I haven't seen this time of night in months unless I've been up with heartburn.

December 22

Tonight Cameron and I made some Christmas cookies. Here is our first tray of wreaths, the first round of cookies out of the cookie press never turns out perfect, but after this we got into a groove. Cameron was super excited to put sprinkles on all the cookies.

Watching and waiting patiently while they bake.

December 21

Today I put a present under the tree for Cameron that I wrapped in this cute No Peeking Santa bag. He went right up to it when he woke up from his nap and thought it was so funny that Santa told him not to peek. I think he spent the majority of the rest of the day in front of the bag making it talk.

December 20

Tonight we took Cameron to see the Christmas fireworks show at Disneyland. We had dinner in Downtown Disney and then entered the park using the Downtown Disney Monorail entrance. This picture of Christmas Small World is a little fuzzy because I took it out the window of the moving monorail, but it's still so pretty.

Cameron sitting on top of his daddy's shoulders, watching the fireworks. He was so excited when it snowed afterward but it was just so crowded I wasn't able to capture any good shots of that.

December 19

Here's my Christmas village. It's the perfect size for me and fits just great on the landing at the top of the stairs. Cameron loves to turn it on first thing every morning when he walks out of his room.

December 18

Here is my very favorite Christmas decoration. I got this as a gift from Kim several years ago, and she painted the whole thing. It has a little light in the back so the inside of the house glows when its on. Isn't it so cute, I just love it.

December 16

Here's a picture of Frosty that Cameron drew today all by himself. He has been practicing drawing snowmen a lot in the last few days but usually asks for help with the nose and hat, but today he did this completely unassisted. He was so very proud of himself!
