Some chilly morning leap day Cameron & Mommy cuddles on the couch. Extra day = extra cuddles!

February 28

Cousin night tonight, and after Cameron ate a very good dinner he started acting up quite a bit. He wasn't being a good listener, wasn't playing nice with London, and was just being quite a rascal. He had several toys taken away from him over a short period of time and Daddy put them up on top of the kitchen cabinets. After much yelling and laughing at Caleb during an attempted time out, Cameron got taken straight upstairs for an early bedtime. After the screaming stopped and he had calmed down a bit he was asleep by 7:30. Eesh.

February 27

While we were at home today I spotted a cute little cat out in our courtyard. I pointed him out to Cameron and he spent probably between 20 and 30 minutes sitting in front of the sliding glass door just watching him. The cat wasn't doing anything but sitting under the table that whole time but Cameron loved looking at him. When my dad asked Cameron what the cats name was Cameron said his name was Pomus, don't know how he came up with that.

February 26

Cameron & Caleb cuddling on the couch watching the Oscars. Okay, well Caleb was watching the Oscars and Cameron was watching Bugs Life on his iPad, I guess he's not too in to the Oscar's yet.

February 25

Today Cameron spent the day with NanaGrampy while Caleb was at a WGI show all day. Once he got over there he had a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats and a banana for breakfast. Mickey joined him for some morning shows during his breakfast, buckled in with his own bib.

February 24

 Happy Birthday Nana! We went to a nice birthday dinner at Cafe Sevilla, and then came back to the house for presents. Of course Cameron thought Nana needed help opening her present.

 This is the card Cameron gave to Nana. He wrote his name ALL by himself, didn't he do such a great job?!? He is getting so good at writing the letters in his name.

February 23

Cameron spent some time doing some Winnie the Pooh puzzled on his iPad tonight after dinner.

February 22

Here is Cameron's iPad and Caleb's Xoom. Cameron isn't really allowed to play or interact with Caleb's Xoom, but he knows what it's called and sees Caleb using it. Tonight we were eating dinner, and completely out of the blue he said, "Mommy when it's Christmas again Santa is going to bring me a Xoom, just like Daddy's." I said, "A Xoom?" and he said, "Yes, a Xoom." So then I said, "Buddy you already have your own iPad you're not getting a Xoom," and he said, "Oh well when my iPad breaks then I can have a Xoom mommy." There may be a couple people in our family that will think Caleb put him up to this, but he truly had nothing to do with it and was just as surprised as I was. It's so funny the things he comes up with and says all on his own, I just love how his little mind works. 

February 21

Today my dad took Cameron outside to ride his tricycle down to the mailbox. He's been riding it around the house but he hadn't done any riding outside yet. Needless to say he was super excited, and he always loves going down to the mailbox.  

I could look at that sweet little smile all day long. 

February 20

Today is President's Day, so Caleb has the day off and Cameron is us in Apple Valley. We started our day off with a delicious breakfast together at Corky's, and then after breakfast stopped by Mee Maw's house to pick up some food. She has made us several delicious dinners the last couple weeks since I am supposed to try to stay off my feet and take it super easy right now. It has certainly helped out so much and made the evenings a little easier on Caleb once he gets home from school. She also had this super cute mug for Caleb. We ended the day with a fun date night at PF Changs. 

February 19

Today Jon, Miles & Layla came down the hill to pick up Cameron for a few days. Cameron was so excited to go to Grandmama & Granpapa's house to play with Miles & Layla and spend a couple nights. Boy was I excited when Jon got there and had some chocolates for us! The one in the back is peanut butter, mine & Caleb's collective favorite, on the left is peppermint, Caleb's favorite, and on the right caramel, my favorite. I wonder how long these will last.

February 18

Last night and tonight Cameron and I spent the night at my parents house. With Caleb out of town we thought it would be best if I wasn't home by myself over night. Cameron got these cool new Cars 2 pj's from Auntie Shen  a few days ago and he got to wear them for the first time tonight. He was so excited to put them on. 

February 17

Today was Grampy, Cameron and Mommy haircut day. He always has so much fun going to get our hair cut and Rene is so good to him and makes it so much fun for him every time. 

February 16

 Tonight we went over to Mee Maw & Grandpa Jim's house for Mee Maw's birthday, which was yesterday. Grandpa Jim had a remote control helicopter to show Cameron after dinner.

 I also got a Vermont Teddy Bear from my dad for Valentines Day. This year I got a super cute frog prince bear. He came in this cute frog suit, and the zipper pull says kiss me. 

Then his suit comes off and he turns into a prince.

Here are my beautiful Valentine's Day roses from Caleb. I got them early in the day so I was able to enjoy them all day, and they smelled so good too!

Today was a nice rainy day and this afternoon we got some hail for a little bit. You can see a little of it there on the table top.

How cute are these kiddies! Today we went to Rick & Malinda's house to celebrate Dad, Uncle Tommy's, Auntie Kathy's and Mom's birthdays. Wendy took the little ones out front to run around a little bit and Caleb caught this great picture of them on his phone. 

February 11

Today Cameron and I hung out at my parents house while Caleb was at a SCPA show all day. When it was time for him to go upstairs for his nap he stayed in his room for about 30 minutes and then came back downstairs. He looked so sleepy, so Nana told him to come over and lay down with her and that it was time to go to sleep. No more than 5 minutes later he was sleeping in her arms. That is a magic I no longer posses, I can't remember the last time I was able to get him to fall asleep in my arms. 

February 10

Here's my sweetie pie on our walk this morning. Grampy saw this great tree for Cameron to sit in, and lifted him up onto it. He thought it was so fun for about 30 seconds, and then very quickly wanted Grampy to get him down. I'm glad I caught this picture, because later this afternoon I started having contractions and now I'm not allowed to go on walks for the next few weeks. 

February 9

Just a little snapshot I took of Cameron playing in his room this afternoon. He really enjoys playing up there by himself now that he has so much room to play on the floor, and so many of his toys upstairs in his cubbies.

Last night while Caleb was making our taco dinner Cameron was working on some drawings. He drew this all by himself, that's me on the left Cameron in the center and Caleb on the right. He gave us all hair, arms and hands,and drew something on each of our shirts. So sweet.

February 7

Taco night! I got Caleb these fun taco racks for Christmas so he can fill all his tacos at once without them tipping over. Just a fun little thing, but Caleb LOVES tacos, so anything that improves his taco experience it well worth it!

This is one of Cameron's most favorite activities. He loves to make Roomba vacuum and then watch and follow him all around. He asks pretty much every day if Roomba can vacuum.

I love these super cute hearts. Other than my front door decoration and some candles these are pretty much the extent of my Valentines Day decorations, and as you may have guessed they were of course made by Auntie Kathy.

Tonight Cameron and I went to see Daddy at the SCPA show. It was just down the freeway at Colony High School so it made stopping by for a visit easy. Cameron is wearing his black SCPA shirt just like Daddy, and was super excited to get his own little matching badge.

Tonight I jazzed up our Costco pizza with some sliced bell peppers and onions. Yummy right?

I can't remember the last time I had lemonade, but I think we can all agree that Hot Dog on a Stick has the best! I have really really been feeling like this lemonade lately, so since I had a couple things I needed to get at Victoria Gardens I stopped in to get some. So delicious! 

January 31

Grampy likes to play this game with Cameron where he mixes up all the parts on Mr. Potato Head to make him silly. Then Cameron will say, "Grampy, did you make Mr. silly?" and will take all the parts out right away to "fix" him. He is usually amused by this, (as long as he's not having a grumpy day) but is always very eager to put him back together right. Today, Cameron got Mr. out and made him silly on his own, and then was so excited to show me that he made him silly today. 

January 30

This is Cameron on our walk with Grampy this morning. Every time we walk in this same spot Cameron turns around and counts to 10 while Grampy hides from him somewhere. Cameron loves this part and covers his eyes so cute when he counts, but my phone camera didn't take the picture fast enough to show that, this is right after he finished counting.

Tonight Caleb was getting some work done on his computer. So, Cameron pulled this chair up to his desk and borrowed Caleb's little wireless keyboard & mouse so he could sit next to him and pretend to type just like daddy.

I took this picture to show you my little man with sleep eyes and the time in the background. I know it's hard to see but the clock on the oven says 6:29, and you're probably thinking that's not too bad. Except he's now been awake for an hour and fifteen minutes. Ugh.

Cameron got this super cute Nemo nightlight for his bathroom from Nana & Grampy the other day. It's so cute in his ocean bathroom, especially with his new Nemo wall stickers. I figured he should have a little nightlight in his bathroom, since one of these days he will be waking up in the middle of the night to go potty. Right?

It looks like Cameron & London had fun playing for cousin night tonight, and they did a great job cleaning everything up too but a picture of the floor with no toys on it isn't very fun!

Cameron spent the day with Grampy today. He took this picture of Cameron in his room at NanaGrampy's house, I guess he wore himself out playing with his fun new kitchen!

Nana & Grampy came over to watch the two football playoff games today. My mom brought over everything she needed to make her super yummy steak in a bag for dinner. Cameron saw some potatoes sitting on the counter and quietly gathered some of the parts from his Mr. Potato Head. I turned around and saw him sitting on the chair trying really hard to get the potato onto the plastic feet. How cute is that?!? 

January 21

Tonight we went out to dinner with Nana & Grampy, and we wanted to go to Harry's Pacific Grill, which we all really enjoy. It had been a while since we had been there, and when we pulled up we found out it is now closed. We ended up going to Claim Jumper instead, but I took this picture of their website when we got home, such a bummer.
