Today was the state marching band championship finals in Santa Barbara. Caleb and I had been planning on going together and leaving Cameron with NanaGrampy for the day and night. Turns out a pretty big rainstorm came in over night and it was supposed to rain all day. We decided to give it a go anyway since the show wasn't being canceled just so we could have a fun day just the two of us (Cameron's had a rough week!). So we drove up to Santa Barbara in the pouring rain, once we got up there it was going back and forth between rain and sprinkles, but we had lots of warm clothing, umbrellas, and parkas to sit on so we wouldn't have to sit on the wet seats. There weren't very many people there so everyone was just sitting in the stands with their umbrellas up. It actually turned out to be a very fun day, and we even managed to stay dry the whole time, feet and all.
