Today was all day big boy room transformation day number 2. With Cameron once again out of the house, we are really hoping to get it done today and have Cameron sleep here tonight.
Today we had to go out and buy a mattress, get the bed assembled and complete all of the finishing touches. Here is Cameron's new big boy bed. I found it online and I really love it, look at all that storage underneath!
From another angle, so you can see the shelves he has on his headboard. We're also really hoping he really likes his new Cars bedding.
The other thing we are really hoping he gets excited about is all these wall decals we have to put up.
The wall surrounding his bed is the Cars wall, these are all characters from Cars 2.
On the other side of the room are his Mickey friends.
We picked a lot of his toys out from his old room and downstairs to put on his new shelves.
Even his art station moved upstairs. The only thing he uses with this so far and his magnetic letters, and Color Wonder markers that only work on special Color Wonder paper, so no worries there.
And, his beanbag to give him somewhere else to sit if he wants. There's a lot of floor room left in the middle of the room, which was really important to us, so he can have a lot of room to play.

He really loves his car bed. Thankfully his new room was a huge hit, he absolutely loves it, and had a successful first nights sleep in his new bed.
