July 1

This morning we left the "vuhcation house" as Cameron called it and started our drive back home. On the way up we drove up the 5 and stopped about halfway through. We decided on the way home we would take an extra day and drive down the coast until we reached San Francisco. Along the way on our first day of driving was the largest Sea Lion Caves in the world. Here is a shot of a big group of the Sea Lions hanging out on a rock outside the caves.

The big cave is a long elevator ride some 200 feet down to ocean level where you can check out the Sea Lions inside the cave where the water crashes. You aren't allowed to use your flash and there are wire fences you have to look through which doesn't allow for the best pictures. Here's my sweet big boy, behind him is the overlook where I took the picture above.

There were so many pretty turnouts along the way.
